Dear Mr Amsler,
Thank you for letter of 6 May 2010.
Within the Member States the holders of an EU or EEA driving license
are entitled to drive motor vehicles in the framework of their driving
license. According to the Commission*s decision of 25 August 2008 on
the equivalence between driving license categories it is possible to
drive the relevant Wohnmobil also in Germany, as long as it is not
registered as a light goods vehicle, but as a passenger car.
Yours sincerely,
For the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development
